Chores’ latest single ‘Surrender’ continues to rack up impressive streaming numbers on Spotify, following its release on January 19, after playlist adds on New Music Friday, as well as a variety of dance lists.
Full of twists and turns, ‘Surrender’ signals a new chapter for the award-winning dance act (Sam Saunders and Thom Simmons), as they up the ante on their approach to songwriting, coupled with bigger, bolder and better production.
Both are impressive names in their own right, with Clicks’ current single ‘We’ll Be Fine’ getting strong airplay on NZ tastemaker radio station, George fm.
PACES is one of the biggest names in the Australian dance scene, with his own material, as well as his remixes for acts such as Hermitude and Crooked Colours.
The PACES remix premiered on the respected Australian dance site, Purple Sneakers HERE
‘Surrender’ and the remix package follows a phenomenal 12 months for Chores, in which they released a string of hits, including ‘Away’, ‘By Your Side’ and ‘Losing You’, which debuted on seven Spotify New Music Friday playlists and peaked at #9 in the New Zealand Viral Charts. All up, the duo has now amassed more than three million streams across Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube and Apple.
They also took over the airwaves with daily rotates on George fm as well as support from ZM and The Edge. Chores also won ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ award at George FM’s ‘Georgies’.
Chores’ upcoming live shows include April 7 - Homegrown, Wellington.
